
About this Excursion
This for-profit industry exploration introduces College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) students to corporate careers, international business, and the for-profit sector, and areas including HR, marketing, management, strategy, and more. Company visits may include direct engagement with alumni and employers. In addition to site visits, the schedule will also incorporate some fun and leisure activities.
This trip provides networking opportunities, site tours, employee and alumni panels, and career-building activities in partnership with alumni at Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies. Examples of previous site visits include:

In previous excursions, activities have included: Panel Discussions, Lunch N’ Learns, Mock Interviews, Internship/Employment Chats, Alumni Storytelling, Networking Events, Office Tours, Interactive Activity/Lesson. All site visits vary based on employer preference and capacity.
Who Should Apply for this Excursion?
This excursion is open to all undergraduate CLAS students from every major. As the employer and alumni visits on this trip focus mainly on for-profit and corporate careers, students with interests in going into similar industries are encouraged to apply.
What Is Expected to Attend this Excursion?
Transportation to and from Atlanta is provided and leaves from the main UF campus. The Beyond120 program covers the costs of lodging, transportation around Atlanta, site visit expenses, and some meals. Students are responsible for any additional costs, including souvenirs, some meals, and snacks.
