Charlie is responsible for undergraduate research instruction and programming. He collaborates across the college to expand local, national, and international research opportunities, advancing students’ research and career goals. He aims to bridge teaching and research with real-world problems, empowering students to succeed in the workforce and make positive changes in their communities. Charlie holds a doctorate in history from the University of Maryland, College Park, and worked in research positions in organized labor and the UN system. He also earned a master’s degree from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s from Florida Southern College.
