Law and (Dis)Order: A Halloween Legal Symposium
Join us for a full day of professional development, networking, and exploration of the legal field hosted by the Beyond120 Program and the Levin College of Law.
The symposium begins with a networking breakfast and coffee—the perfect way to connect with peers before the day officially kicks off. Following a welcome session at 10:00 a.m., you’ll hear from leaders in law and higher education as they outline the symposium’s goals and opportunities. Throughout the day, students can participate in concurrent sessions led by practicing attorneys and faculty, covering timely topics in the legal profession. You’ll also have the chance to take a guided tour of the Levin College of Law, one of the nation’s top law schools, with sessions offered at multiple times to fit your schedule. At midday, enjoy a complimentary networking lunch, where you’ll engage with speakers, alumni, and fellow students in a relaxed, professional setting. The afternoon will continue with additional sessions and tours, offering you a comprehensive look into the world of law, its challenges, and its future. This symposium is a valuable opportunity to expand your knowledge, build professional connections, and explore the pathways available in law. In addition to lifted parking in the green Levin College lot, students may utilize the RTS bus system. Route 118 departs from Graham Hall and Route 20 departs from the Reitz Union, both stopping at Corry Village. From Corry Village, it is approximately a seven-minute walk to the Levin College of Law. Please plan for at least 30 minutes of travel time prior to your intended arrival.
Business attire is required. Although this is a Halloween–themed conference, costumes will not be permitted. Students who do not own business attire may be given one outfit free of charge from the Molm Career Closet.
No. Attendees may select from three participation options: 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., 12:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m., or 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Yes. Levin College of Law Ambassadors will be leading scheduled tours throughout the day.
Yes, thoughtful questions are encouraged. To assist with preparation, students may review the LinkedIn profiles of our speakers. A finalized speaker list will be released during the first week of October.
The conference will feature approximately 24 speakers, in addition to Levin College of Law Ambassadors, current law students, admissions staff, and faculty members.

We recommend bringing a notebook, pen, and water bottle. All other necessary materials will be provided on site.
Yes. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for students who RSVP in advance. Breakfast will include coffee and pastries, and lunch will consist of a boxed sandwich and salad.
